Ready for Winter
My Dad keeps a log chain wrapped around two weights at the front of his Massey-Ferguson to improve traction in mud, snow and ice, and if he needs a chain to pull something out of those, he's ready. I was fascinated by the nearly abstract combination of textures and colors on it after an icy snow. Colored pencil, ink and gouache on Strathmore 400 vellum bristol.
